AKA Sarge

For the past 20 years, fitness has been a major part of my life alongside being a mother to four amazing children. I have done a Spartan race and several 5ks. I am very passionate about fitness and the well being of others as well as myself. I love being able to teach and help others to overcome their fitness obstacles. I definitely like to push people out of their comfort zone. My goal is to always grow in the fitness industry and to bring great things to others. It's important to me to provide a place where people will want to come and workout and enjoy it as well. In order to become more well rounded in my knowledge, I have enrolled in classes to obtain certifications related to personal training, nutrition, and fitness.

I bring a lifetime of physical fitness to the HIIT Factory! I am an avid outdoorsman who loves kayaking, mt. biking, and hiking. I also love to play basketball and fight train! More than those attributes, I bring a great charismatic, positive, and

energetic attitude to workouts. It will always be my goal to encourage and support your self confidence and accomplishments. I can't wait to put you to work on the assembly line at Grove City's HIIT Factory!

I have an extensive fitness background. I am a 6 year U.S. Army veteran, with 3 years as a physical fitness non-commissioned officer that conducted physical fitness with the soldiers of my military units. I am a certified kickboxing fitness trainer with over 6 years of kickboxing fitness training experience. I have been an athlete since I was a child and has been involved in the fitness industry for over 20 years. Having over 20 years experience in competitive fitness like CrossFit, cross country running, and endurance races, I have a burning passion for fitness and helping others. I've competed in mud obstacle course endurance events like Tough Mudder, Savage Race, and Mud Ninja, for over 15 years while also training and leading teams to prepare for these types of events. I also love "untraditional fitness". Anything that keeps the body moving, intensity high, and excitement higher is where my passion lies.

Success is never owned. It’s leased. And rents due every day. I love that quote, pay your “rent” every day. My fitness journey has taken me all kinds of different directions. I like finding new and challenging ways to push myself and keep workouts interesting. I love HIIT workouts, lifting, and running. Yes, the big fella likes to run. My biggest accomplishment would be finishing the 4x4x48 challenge. Running 4 miles every 4 hours for 48 hours. When I have some down time you can find me with my wife, my 2 Aussies, a glass of bourbon, my record player, and some Mario Kart.

What started as post baby weight loss seven years ago turned into a love and a new found family. Learning from trainers Jacob, Nolan, Jason, and Danielle, I learned how to take care of myself physically and mentally. Working out became hwat helepd me get through my days- I looked forward to seeing my second family and how we were going to push each other next. Being a teacher and mom with two active kids and a supportive husband is my daily "why". Being part of this new adventure is something I never dreamed of, but couldn't imagine any other way. I'm excited to bring all of my "dance moves" and energy to each and every one of you.
